Hey all! I’m getting ready to take off in a moment here for Lori Foster’s Reader Event in Cincinatti. I’m driving. Ugh. Sounded like a good idea at the time. Actually, once I get on the road, I usually enjoy myself. Nothing like driving in the summertime. I’ve got my tunage and my snacks. Who knows, maybe a good story idea will pop in my head.

I’m going to be picking up some signed copies of books at the book signing from some terrific authors, some to offer as giveaways during my Sweet Restraint contest coming up on June 15. 🙂 It’s right around the calendar corner.

Oh–and my gift basket, which is actually a gift beach bag, is really fun. I did a Hawaiian/Paradise Rules theme. It’s stuffed with tanning products, awesome Opi floral nail polishes, candles, Kona coffee, bath stuff, my books (beach reading–lol) and some jewelry I bought in Hawaii. I’m glad my niece talked me into buying all those cute anklets, necklaces and silver toe rings. I brought home bags of jewelry last year, not realizing it’d make great prize stuff when Paradise Rules came out. 🙂 Good impulsive buying there, Beth. Look for some giveaways by the time Paradise Rules releases in October.

Up next, Snippet Saturday. I know, it’s only Friday, so pretend like it’s not there until tomorrow, when all the other fabulous authors have their posts up as well. The theme is a fight scene. I was worried the internet connection might be a problem in the hotel room, so I’m putting it up before I go.
