Something About You comes out tomorrow!
Julie James did a terrific interview for Borders. She looks great in it and she talks smart romance. Check it out here and then come back and comment on your thoughts on the video. I’ll choose one commenter to win their choice of a Julie James book, including her newest book, which releases tomorrow, SOMETHING ABOUT YOU!!
Drawing on Saturday!!

I enjoyed the interview. Loved the part about basing a hero on Carey Grant+ Brad Pitt=George Clooney.

I didn’t realize that Chicago was only 4 hours from Ann Arbor!?!?! Great interview — Julie, I like a man who carries a gun! 😀

I was expecting Sue to conduct the interview, but I was happy to see Colleen interview Julie. Loved Julie’s shout out to “Release.”

Carey Grant and Brad Pitt combined is a bit weird but ok. I guess we can go with the flow on this one.

That was a really great interview…First of all, I’m so glad to have been able to put a face to Julie & Joss…they’re both authors whose work I haven’t as yet read and am actually planning on getting soon so I can catch up to their latest releases. 😀
I’m totally digging Julie’s honourable mention of your work…

I’ve always enjoyed those Borders author interviews. I wished they focused more on the current release but it was all good 😀

I really enjoyed the interview this is the first time that I’ve watched one I was surprised at how good it was.

That was a fun interview. It’s weird because I did picture a George Clooney type, when reading Just the Sexiest Man Alive. I always enjoy hearing how the author imagines their characters when writing. I’m looking forward to the new book. I’m sure it will have all the witty banter I enjoyed in the two previous books.

I really liked the interview.
It was very relaxed but had lots of good book info.
The woman has obvious good taste, what with her hero types AND her reading choices.
Way to go Beth!

This was a really great interview. I have not read anything by Julie James previously but just added her to my list of books to get.
Was really intrigued by the backstory on who she pictured as the hero in her first book and the equation Cary Grant and Brad Pitt equals George Clooney. I also liked that she seems to be reading alot of the same authors that I do and she mentioned several books that are in my tbr pile.

What a fun interview. I love JJ’s books! I’m not a big Cloony fan so I stopped listening at Cary Grant + Brad Pitt, LOL 😀

Julie had sent me the link yesterday, and my husband was home, so I said, want to watch it? I looked at him in surprise when she mentioned RELEASE. That was very kind of her. She said she’d told me she did, but I don’t remember it. lol.
Anyway, Julie’s book is kicking butt. I can’t wait to read it. I was going to buy and have her sign one at our book signing in Chicago on March 13, but I might have to buy it beforehand and gobble it up on Kindle…

I really liked how the interview was conducted. Great questions. And I love whenever she discusses Cary Grant. Her heroes are exactly reminiscent of Cary, which makes them even more sexy.

I enjoyed the interview and I didn’t know there was a suspense plot in her new book so that should be interesting.

I really enjoyed the interview. Though I enjoy Cary Grant, I’m not a Clooney or Pitt fan. However, I really like Julie’s heroes.
