I thought it was great that women did not get interesting to the watchers until their “second change” or when they were in their thirties, which was an interesting twist. They thought women that were younger were “children”. Skylar is a strong woman who doesn’t like the fact that she’s being pushed around a bit in order to stay safe. The added twist that Duse’s brother Jax is in love with her too makes the story hard to put down. I thought the interactions between Skylar, Duse and Jax made the story come together into something that should not be missed.
