If you are curious about Madeline and Teague, whom you do meet again in Micah’s story, then I’d suggest reading TEoM first. You can read about it here:

You also get to meet Micah and Eppie as secondary characters, get a feeling for who Eppie was before Micah’s book.

Both books sound great. Since Eppie is in The Education of Madeline, and she’s lost her memory in The Redemption of Micah, I’m assuming TEoM should be read first? Or would it be ok to read them out of order?
