The best way to go undercover is take it all off….
A sexy CPA goes undercover as a male stripper in the mobster’s Vegas club to nail a Mafia kingpin. The perk? The club’s owner. Sure she’s got some unsavory connections, but how can anyone with those legs be all bad?
She’s got a head for business, but is out of practice in the pleasure department. If anyone can strip her of her inhibitions it’s the new guy who’s stirring her wildest g-string fantasies. But besides the sizzling sexual chemistry they have in common, they both have secrets. They learn quickly that, with the mob closing in, what gets exposed is as irresistible as it is dangerous.

by Cheryl McInnis June 30th, 2009 at 10:20 amI know this is a fun contest & I don’t want to bitch but does anyone know why publishers do that? I bought them as small paperbacks & they’ve released them as trade size costing twice as much. I also have books I bought by Lucy Monroe & Shannon McKenna as trade size & now they are out in small paperbacks.

Thanks.
I’m late to the party, gang, after being out of town, but thanks to everyone for their comments!
Mary, publishers sometimes re-release out of print books by authors who have a new or growing fan base so that readers who didn’t get the book the first time can find it again. The jump from mass market to trade on this one was because all of my Berkley Shayla Black titles are in trade paperback, and their thinking is that readers who read you in one format always want to read you in that format. Hope that helps.

by Mary G July 6th, 2009 at 6:22 amThanks so much for the clarification. My first thought was corporate greed. I didn’t want to rant & you’ll see that I didn’t want to spoil the party until the writer after my first comment mentioned it. I was also frustrated because I love your books & for a minute there I thought I was going to read new books but then I remembered the tiltles. Believe me – take it as a compliment.
