Interesting titles draw my attention, but nice covers win my heart. And I tend to pick up those books with stylish covers. Of couses, the storyline is the most important part. So in the end, it’s the blurb that drives me to the counter and pay for it.

I just want to know where they find such gorgeous men for the covers! Boy they are hot! Once I like an author I usually will read what they write but I love to try new authors.

Sometimes I will judge a book by the cover, I know I’m bad, I will buy the book mostly from reading the book blurb. I always do wonder how author’s come up with the book titles.

I think the first thing for me is the Author and the cover. If I like an Author it doesn’t much matter the title or the cover. The one Title that will definitely sway me is any one with the word Highlander. :) My one weakness.

Mostly it’s a cover that will catch my eye, to make me pick up and read the blurb and inside a little. Sometimes though a catchy title can make you stop and look, even with an awful cover, lol. Titles have to be hard, trying not to duplicate, you can only do so much to make it different than what’s already been used without making the title sound like a whole book.

Yes, I pay attention to titles. I have to admit that the cover is the first thing I notice usually but the second thing would be a title that sticks. Anything ‘wicked’ would stick out to me and make me pull out the book and turn it over to read the blurb. Titles are a big draw actually. The more interesting it is, the better chance I’ll want to see what the book is all about.
