Morning all! It’s Wicked Wednesday. Why? Because the giveaway is a choice of a couple “Wicked” books: Wicked Burn (by moi) OR Wicked Ties by very nice author Shayla Black.
As you may have noticed, the word wicked is featured in a lot of titles recently. My book was re-named by the publisher with the ‘wicked’ title. I’d originally called it Out of The Ashes; just as a bit of trivia. But the publishers do know how to sell books, and Out of the Ashes was not thought to be sexy enough. Considering the intense sexuality between Vic and Niall, I don’t think it was misnamed entirely. Although I do miss the evocative quality of Out of the Ashes, given Niall’s story.
Have you ever read a book and thought: Where the heck did they get that title? Notice any themes in romance or erotic romance titles that are overdone? I’m wondering if people really pay attention to titles, or is it the cover and blurb that pull you in? Comment and be entered to win a choice of the books below.
